Bring your family to Wagamama, which has been transformed into a pink blossom wonderland to celebrate hanami, the Japanese cherry blossom festival. Children will adore the sakura bloom placemats, the blossom window vinyls and staff t-shirts saying ‘hello hanami’. There’s a spring party vibe, as well as a kids’ menu. Catch hanami at St David’s Wagamama until 15 May.

For kids a visit to American diner TGI Fridays is pure happiness. The kids’ menu lists Kids Mocktails and Create Your Own Desserts, winners! For teenagers there’s the Fridays® two courses for £15.99 (Sesame Chicken Strips anyone?). Remember though, this offer is only available Monday to Thursday, not on bank holidays. Slim Chickens


Recently opened at St David’s, Cardiff, Slim Chickens is a must to visit with your family this Easter. Grab a handspun shake (strawberry, banana, vanilla or chocolate) along with a meal of buttermilk marinated breaded chicken and fries. Your kids will appreciate this restaurant’s Southern hospitality.



Kids love Mexican market eating at Wahaca. There’s lots of new street food on the menu such as this mouth-watering chargrilled steak, avocado and chipotle salsa baja taco.
