Now you can get a taste of the corn ribs trend at Wahaca with the arrival this month of new summer specials!
Having taken TikTok by storm in recent months, Corn Ribs are slices cut from the cob to resemble ribs. With corn being indigenous to Mexico and a staple of Mexican street food, it came naturally to Wahaca to create its own take on the trend for the summer season.
The ‘ribs’ are lightly fried, tossed in lime and served with a smoky chipotle mayo, making for a dish that’s sure to be snapped and shared before it gets devoured!
Those in the mood for meat though will welcome the addition of the new Carnitas Tacos!
Featuring slow-cooked, free range confit pork shoulder, caramelised and served in toasted corn tortillas with a green tomatillo salsa. Juicy, tender and marvellously moreish - a Mexican classic for a very good reason!
